In the practice of forensic chemical examination, an analysis of the brain poisoned with amlodipine was developed. Amlodipine is a 2nd generation calcium channel blocker with antianginal and hypotensive effects. The drug is a mixture of stereoisomers. In the practice of forensic chemical examination, such a method for isolating amlodipine from biological organs as thin layer chromatography (TLC) has been studied. The developed method is recommended for the analysis of amlodipine in a biological object.
